Our little guy...

And he's perfectly healthy! I'm exactly 26 weeks today and feeling great. 

Baby boy who has four pending names (!!) is about 14 inches and 2.5 lbs. WOAH!

No wonder I feel like a house! 

In other news, my wonderful sister, Juli, is coming to visit me this weekend. I'm in dire need of 

some good girl time and I CANNOT wait to get her here...I'll update after that visit, too. :) 

COME TO OMAHA and visit us friends and family. We love you!

Baby belly goes bump, bump, bump...

It's growing like a little balloon or a hill...maybe a beach ball...but it's growing! I will post pics soon...

So far, no (bad) symptoms. Micah says I walk slow and I have the occasional back ache, but I think I've lucked out. The only other thing that sucks is SLEEPING. Uuugh. When pregnant, belly sleep becomes uncomfortable quickly...although this was previously my fave. And sleeping on your back is not an option...something about blood flow and major organs. So the side to side game it is! All. Night.

Looks like I may be investing in one of these monstrous pillows...it'll be like 3 people in the bed! Which maybe I should get used to anyway...

And last but not least on the belly update...MATERNITY CLOTHES ROCK. Who knew how poorly my regular clothes were fitting until my wonderful mother sent me a package of pants with stretchy bellies and extra long T-shirts with room for growth...they're awesome. I'm so much more comfy!

In other news, Micah starts Pharmacy school tomorrow...it's the beginning of the end of this journey he's been working so long for! No worries...I will take a first day of school pic, complete with his new backpack!

That's pretty much it for now, just spending a ton of time online looking for home/nursery inspiration. Oh AND just started a www.pinterest.com account, definitely worth checking out.

Who Knew?!

I'm starting this blog for a very specific reason, so bear with me as I take you through the last few years....

There was this guy....

... who traveled half way across the world and met this girl. They traveled here and there together and eventually realized, there is nowhere they would rather be...

Luckily, after six months of traveling, they returned to two homes right across town from one another and spent the next 2 years exploring Lubbock and loving their friends and their lives. 

As two people in love do, they decided to get engaged...

The year was off to a great start as wedding plans began. Then, this guy...

...made his decision to go to Pharmacy School in Omaha, NE where they are just now getting settled after the MOST amazing wedding...

The pair were feeling so blessed to have had such a fairytale life together and to have the greatest friends and family. What more could anyone ask for?!?!

(I actually took FIVE of them! Haha.)

Turns out...there is ONE more, small thing we could ask for!!! 

Aaaaand back to the very specific reason I will be beginning this blog. 

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?! Wish us luck and come see the three of us asap. Until then, I hope you feel a part of our lives through this blog.
